Your Social Networking status widget will be updated automatically using DROID 2′s Motorola Applications Software. It will aggregate all your social networking accounts in one place and provides status and messaging back and forth between your accounts and the DROID 2.
After you have added a Social Networking application, if you find the Status widget is blank or loading for an unusually long time, it could be a result of poor Signal strength or Wi-Fi coverage. If issue persists in strong coverage, delete the widget and add it back again.

Social Networking Updates Widget

If your Social Networking Update widget states “Add a social network”, you need to add a social network (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter) to your DROID 2 accounts. Once the account is added, your handset will quickly update your social networking widget with information.

Tap on Social Networking Update widget to open widget and view updates from friends in your social networks (if already syncing).

Press Menu > Layers to select from Traffic, Satellite, Latitude or recent searches, viewed positions or directions.
