Verizon BlackBerry Storm2 9550-RIM’s latest touchscreen cellphone review

Posted on November 17th, 2009 in Verizon Cell Phone Pictures, Verizon Cell Phone Reviews | 1 Comment »

Verizon BlackBerry Storm2 9550, which we have waited for a long time, RIM’s latest touchscreen cellphone. For many BlackBerry fans, it’s really a challenge to wait for such long time. While, it’s here now. Our parters collected much information over the Verizon BlackBerry Storm2 9550. Thanks to them, now a review has be developed.

Hardwire:

the BlackBerry  OS 5.0 has been equiped on the new Verizon cell phones, the original verison is still available.

Appearance:

The Storm2’s 112.5mm x 62mm x 14mm (4.4in x 2.4in x .6in) dimensions are almost exactly the same as the originals, though the Storm2 has gained a few grams of mass, coming in at 161.6g (5.7oz). The 4 hardware keys that sit below the display on the Storm are now part of the new 3.2-inch, 360 x 480 pixel touchscreen found on the Storm2. The Storm2’s screen has warmer colors than the original, and they are more lifelike as a result. there are some other real changes that are also an improvement on the old design. The volume control, shutter button, and voice dial button that are located on the edges of the phone are now black in color and blend in more cleanly with the rest of the design. The chrome frame of the phone has also been darkened, which gives the Storm2 a more cohesive looking appearance that is quite attractive to the eyes.Verizon BlackBerry Storm2 9550-1

Verizon BlackBerry Tour 9630 review and QWERTY

Posted on July 21st, 2009 in Verizon Cell Phone Pictures, Verizon Cell Phone Reviews | 5 Comments »

In RIM’s 9000 series of cellphones, maybe BlackBerry Tour 9630 is the newest one, which be released by Verizon and Sprint. The Tour obeys the basic BlackBerry Bold recipe and stuffs the ingredients into a smaller, more compact form factor. The Tour also gets updated features like a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, which bests the 2.0 megapixel unit found on the Bold.

The keyboard on the BlackBerry Tour is QWERTY. The keys are shaped like those on the Bold, but are more compactly arranged, like those on the Curve series. They have a really good feel to them, providing a firm click when pressed. The trackball controller on our Tour didn’t seem to work as well as those found on other BlackBerry devices, but that could have been a firmware issue or just a problem with our particular handset.

When it comes to the quality, many users might warry about it. Indeed, we must think it of before we buy my cellphone. I think, however, BlackBerry Tour 9630 is nicer than what we expected.

BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 review and pictures

Posted on July 19th, 2009 in Verizon Cell Phone Pictures, Verizon Cell Phone Reviews | No Comments »

Alltel  has released  BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 for a long time. Indeed, it’s well received by all lovers. In spite of  few shortcomings , the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 is perfect. Though the form, along with the keyboard, has been condensed and folded for a clamshell, RIM hasn’t skimped on the messaging and productivity options that make BlackBerry phones a hit with business users. With its slick interface, easy multimedia options and impressive Web browsers, we think this would make a great first smartphone for buyers stepping up from a lesser device. Still, experience users will lament the struggling performance, which slowed down every feature on the phone, and experienced BlackBerry users will long for the battery life of larger devices.

Verizon Samsung i760 review and pictures

Posted on July 11th, 2009 in Verizon Cell Phone Pictures, Verizon Cell Phone Reviews | No Comments »

Here,we will have a review from several aspects. Maybe they can make difference to you.

Software and Operating System

That’s not the only bug in the i760’s software, unfortunately. Another, possibly more serious, one concerns the display drivers, and renders some programs unable to display video in landscape mode. The most notable example is SlingPlayer Mobile, which when put into landscape mode can only display a series of bars. Returned to portrait, video is perfectly viewable. Other programs though, like The Core Pocket Media Player, are completely unaffected by this bug.

Communication(the most important function of a mobilephone)
