Follow the steps listed below to set up and use the music player.

Transfer tools you have to prepare:

To put music on your computer and then load it on your phone, you need:

A Microsoft® Windows® PC or Apple® Macintosh®
A USB data cable
A microSD memory card

MicoSD Memory Cards
Music on your phone will be stored on a memory card. It supports removable microSD memory cards up to 32 GB capacity.

Music file formats :
Your phone can play many types of files: MP3, M4A, AAC, ACC+, MIDI, WAV, and OGG Vorbis.

Note: Your phone does not support any DRM protected files.

Radio Your phone does not have a radio. Your phone does have applications that you will be able to download Market. These applications will enable you to listen to music.

Note: For WMA files, we recommend you use an audio converter software to convert .wma to .mp3

Headphones
Your phone has a 3.5mm headset jack for wired stereo listening. You can go wireless with Bluetooth® stereo headphones or speakers.

Transfer music files from a computer to your memory card.

With a memory card inserted, and your phone showing the home screen, connect a Motorola micro USB data cable to your phone and your computer
Drag down the status bar.
Tap USB connected to select the connection.
Tap Mount to connect your memory card to your computer. You can’t use the files on your memory card while it is connected.
On your computer, open Windows Media Player.
On the “Sync” tab, select “More Options“. Under “Device“, select your phone.
Select “Properties“, check the “Create folder hierarchy on device” box, and click “OK“.
Drag your music files over to the “Sync List” and press “Start Sync“.

Transfer using USB
Transfer music files from a computer to your memory card.

With a memory card inserted, and your phone showing the home screen, connect a Motorola micro USB data cable from your phone’s micro USB port to a USB port on your computer. Your phone should show in the status bar.
Drag down the status bar.
Tap USB connected to select the connection.
Tap Mount to connect your memory card to your computer. You can’t use the files on your memory card while it is connected.
On your computer, find “Removable Device” (your memory card) in the “My Computer” window.
On your Apple Mac, your phone should appear as a new drive on the desktop. If the drive does not appear, reboot the computer.
Drag and drop your music to a folder on your memory card.
Tip: To help manage your music, create a “Music” folder on your memory card.
When you’re done, use the “Safely Remove Hardware” feature to finish.

Motorola Media Link (MML) is a free PC software download that connects your Motorola Android phone to your PC. It allows you to easily transfer, sync, manage, back up and share your phone’s content.

Motorola DEVOUR, which has a bulky body[ 115.5mm x 61mm x 15.42mm (4.5in x 2.4in x 0.6in)], will come soon from VerizonWireless. At the first look, you’ll be fascinated and puzzled by this smartphone, because it looks like the T-Mobile Sidekick. In my opinion, it’s good for the young. I appreciate it so much.

The mechanism of the QWERTY slider is very sturdy and smooth, and I liked that with just a slight push the screen had enough energy to slide up on its own and reveal the full QWERTY keyboard hiding underneath it. The entire phone has a silver aluminum color that’s accented with bits of black. The backside has two large rubber surfaces for grip.

Considering the size of the DEVOUR’s surface area, the display looks way too small. It measures 3.1 inches across the diagonal (just like Motorola’s CLIQ and BACKFLIP) and has a very average 480 x 320 pixel HVGA resolution. By comparison, the Motorola DROID has a much sharper 854 x 480 pixel resolution and a larger 3.7 inch screen. That means you’ll see more of a website on the DROID, and images, text, and video will look sharper its screen. In any event, the DEVOUR’s display was bright enough to view under direct sunlight with the brightness set to full.
