If, like most of the Verizon users, you have already attained a Samsung Fascinate. You’d better, however, know how to hard reset on Samsung Fascinate due to few unexpected case. When your device is attacked by the windupdates, what you can do to make your Samsung Fascinate work is to hard reset on your Samsung Fascinate. Now move on to the point.

How to hard reset on Samsung Fascinate:

First, try this:
1. From the main home screen, tap menu
2. Tap Settings, then Privacy
3. Tap Factory data reset
4. Tap Reset phone
5. Enter your password, then tap Yes to confirm

If that doesn’t work, or if your phone is frozen:
1. Turn the power off. If your Samsung Fascinate is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and release the Power button
4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button
7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

  • i do this and it just says downloading and below that it says do not turn off power source!!! and dosent go away. i factory reseted it from holding volume up and down and the power button and i turn it on it says sorry application twlauncher failed and you have to force close but it keeps coming up simultaniously and never stops. can you please help me??

  • The issue is his instructions are INCORRECT – #2 should read press UP/DOWN buttons simultaneously – this happened to me as well

    Luckily I was able to call Verizon as it was within my 30-day return window and they are replacing my device

    Call Verizon immediately
