• 1. From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
  2. Select Settings & Tools (9)
  3. Select Phone Settings (8)
  4. Select Security (8)
  5. Enter the code then press OK (Default is last 4 digits of your cellphone number)
  6. Select Phone Lock Setting (3)
  7. Highlight either Unlocked or On Power Up then press OK
  8. Select Lock Phone Now (4) to immediately Lock the Phone

Press and hold the Lock key (Zero key) to manually lock the handset.  To manually unlock the handset press the right soft key for Unlock then press OK.

Phone Lock

In Phone Lock mode, you can answer calls, but the phone must be unlocked to place outgoing calls (except to emergency numbers).  The phone locks automatically the next time it is powered on, if enabled, and stays locked until you enter the correct lock code.
