In order to protect the personal information in your device, you cellphone users need to know how to lock your cellphone. Today we focus on Verizon Samsung Rouge. This Verizon Samsung Rouge supports three different kinds of  locks, Manual Lock, Auto Lock and Phone Lock. Following we would talk the way to lock Samsung Rouge as type.

Samsung Rogue Manual Lock

Press the Lock key , located on the upper right side (#3), to manually lock the handset.  Touch and Hold the Lock key to manually unlock the handset.

Samsung Rogue auto lock

1. From the home screen, touch Menu
2. Touch Settings & Tools
3. Press Touch Settings (6)
4. Under Auto Lock, touch either On or Off to enable or disable the Auto Lock setting

Samsung Rogue phone lock

1. From the home screen, touch Menu
2. Touch Settings & Tools
3. Touch Phone Settings (7)
4. Touch Security (7)
5. Enter the Lock Code (Default is last 4 digits of phone number)
6. Touch one of the following:
   • Touch Phone Lock Setting (3)
     • From the Phone Lock Setting touch one of the folllowing:
       • Unlocked - The phone remains unlocked
       • On Power Up – The phone locks after power up
   • Touch Lock Phone Now (4)- The phone locks immediately and stays locked until the correct lock code is entered

Notes: In Samsung Rogue Phone Lock mode, you can answer calls, but the phone must be unlocked to place outgoing calls (except to emergency numbers).  The phone locks automatically the next time it is powered on and stays locked until you enter the correct lock code.
