I dropped my samsung rogue in water…. Now when i place battery in it, it contnues to turn on and off and wont stop unless i press middle button. if i leave it alone it will shut off. If i lock it and wait a bit it will not unlock and have to remove battery to start again. Is there a way to fix this, will resetting it help?

thank you for putting this up. I really needed to do this but had no idea how to do it! I really appreciate all your help with this matter!!!

you meant you forgot your phone password you have personally set? if you are in this case, just go to a professional special repair shop near you. you need to restore your phone CPU, or whatever.
If you can tap into your phone to make a call or send messages, while you want to reset it, just go with the instructions listed.

the touch screen buttons on my rouge are all slowly not working. what can i do to fix this?

My rogue is a piece. I’ve had it for almost two years and the touch screen doesn’t work at all anymore. I’ve had no problems with it working, but my touch screen is dead. I wish it had a reset button behind the battery like every other phone.

do it have one? anyway, you should be happy since your device has been working for two years.

Hi. I need the screen copies and instructions to wipe the Rogue clean of personal data back to the factory settings. My phone works, but the screen is black. By memorization I can answer a call because I know where the touch locations are to retrieve that call. However, I would like to get a new phone and need to wipe this one clean as I’ve been instructed. Please provide visual screen detailed instructions to ERASE ALL: contacts, phone call histories, text messages, pictures (if any), personal info and any other places that may contain non-factory settings. Again, phone works, can’t see screen but touch locations work, just need visuals to know where to touch on the screen to clear everything. THANKS.

well, it sounds really frustrating since you can not use the touchscreen. as a matter of fact, you have the access to perform a hard reset via the power on/off key. we will try to provide you the solution to perform a hard reset as soon as possible. anyway, thanks for your feedback.
you wanna a new cellphone? which kind of phone you want to purchase? nothing stored into your SD card will affect. the issue in question is the contacts, cellphone call histories and web histores, while, you can delete these manually.

Hi. Thank you for the phone number to contact Samsung Customer Service. I called them today to help me with my Rogue touchpad and slide cell phone and they provided me a code to enter on the slide keypad to wipe the cell phone. Being I could not see the screen at all at this point, but the cell phone still took pictures and I could still answer calls, this was the best way to wipe it back to factory settings. Thank you so much!
