how to transfer pictures from Verizon SCH-U740 to my computer?

Today, I got the steps about how to transfer pictures from Verizon SCH-U740 to my computer. There are two ways to succeed in transfering  pictures. One is through memory card and the other one is through online album. Here, I only have the experience through memory card. I haven’t known the second method yet. Is the first way suitable with you?

Via Memory Card

• 1. Remove the memory card slot cover,
  2. Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card slot, until it locks in place

  

• 1. From the standby screen, press the key for Menu
  2. Using the navigation keys, select Get It Now
  3. Select Picture & Video (2)
  4. Select My Pictures (3)
  5. Using the navigation keys, select the desired picture
  6. Press the right soft key for Options
  7. Highlight Move and press the key
  8. Ensure that Yes is highlighted and press the key to Move the Photo to the microSD memory card
  9. Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card slot
  10. Replace the memory card slot cover
  11. Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor
  12. Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader
  13. Insert the memory card reader into the USB slot on the PC
  14. Navigate to the Photo location, inside the My Pictures folder, using Windows Explorer
  15. Drag and drop or copy & paste the Photo into the desired destination on the PC

To transfer pictures (via a memory card) to a PC requires a microSD Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. The microSD memory card MUST first be formatted, by the handset, in order for the handset to create the destination folders.

WARNING: Formatting the microSD Memory Card will permanently erase all data
