how to unlock blackberry storm 9530 smartphone?

I have purchased my smartphone Verizon blackberry storm 9530 for a long time. The day before yesterday, I’ve switched networks from verizon to T-Mobile successfully. I share these instructions with you. I would appreciate it so much if you consider that these methods will make a difference.

The following are  instructions that I recorded.

1. Go to options

2. Go to advanced options

3. Go to simcard

4. Type the letters “mepd”

The menu should now change

5. Type the letters “mep” press alt type “2″

This should prompt you for a code, enter code.

This should unlock your phone to use on any network.
