• To manually lock the handset press and Hold the Lock key , located on the right side next to the camera key
• Press and Hold the Lock key again to unlock the handset or touch the “Touch to Unlock” icon shown on the display

To use the automatic lock follow the steps below:

1. From the home screen, touch Start
2. From Main Menu 1, touch Settings
3. From the Basic Settings tab, scroll to the bottom then touch Security Settings

2. Touch the box for “Prompt if device is unused for” to check it

• Touch the drop down arrow (0 minutes) then select an increment of time
• Touch the Password Type drop down arrow then select either Simple PIN or Strong Alphanumeric
• Touch Password then enter the desired Password
• Touch Confirm then re-enter the Password
• Touch the Hint tab
• Enter a Password hint in case you forget the Password
• Touch OK, located in the top right corner
• Touch Yes to save the Automatic Lock settings
• The handset locks automatically the next time it is powered on and stays locked until the correct lock code is entered
