- An icon appears in the status bar, showing that your hotspot is live. Devices can connect by entering the SSID and entering the correct wireless password.

To save battery power, give your Wi-Fi connection a rest when you’re not using it. Use the Wi-Fi sleep policy to set your Wi-Fi connection to sleep when the display turns off and reconnect when it turns on.

I have a Motorola Droid 3 with the Mobile Hotspot feature. I am able to connect and use Internet connectivity for only a few minutes before the connection is dropped. I then must reset the hotspot and reconnect on my computer. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

are you talking about the wifi connection spot? now the issue in question is the spot. i have the same shit trouble with my droid 2, anyone can help?
