Verizon Motorola Rival can’t receive incoming calls

Yesterday, my mother’s cellphone Verizon Motorola Rival went wrong inexplicablely. she couldn’t receive any calls.What’s worse, no calls can be put through.  Finally, I find the problem out. Without effective Caller ID service, obviously, it can’t make  a connection with the Internet. Under your MyVerizon account in VerizonWireless，I find my mother’s  Caller ID. After activating the ID, breathtakingly, it comed to normal.(Verizon Cell phone problems)
