Verizon Samsung Trance issues

My friend just purchased Verizon Samsung Trance a few days ago. To his surpise, Samsung claimd that the Trance can take up to a 16GB card, but then suggests only cards up to 2GB, leading to lacking of space to download the music and video he love. What’s worse, the annoying guy ends up stopping  automaticly.He can’t find any ways and means to solve the trouble he met. Would you give him much suggestion? He would appreciate it so much.
