We find it a hot topic whether the Motorola Droid Pro cellphone supports other GSM SIM such as AT&T or T-Mobile in the US or not. We get support from Motorola Answer site that the Motorola Droid Pro cellphone has been designed to be utilized with the pre-installed SIM card. You have to enable international roaming AND activate your pre-installed SIM card in your phone when traveling outside of the U.S.
The GSM and UMTS bands that are supported in DROID PRO will not work in the United States. The GSM and UMTS bands are only able to be utilized outside the U.S. A GSM SIM card such as AT&T or T-Mobile will not operate in the U.S.
Contact Verizon Wireless for more information dial *611 from your cell phone or call Verizon Wireless @ 800-922-0204 if necessary or email us.
